This Web Site is devoted to the Senior Class of 1954,
Merryville High School, Louisiana. It will take a while to gather all of the
information, but it's going to be a lot of fun. I have searched the internet for
a Merryville High School page but to no avail. So as can be expected one of the
Class of '54 will do the first. I hope to have my dear friend and classmate, Ben
Mertens, aid me in this project.

MERRYVILLE HIGH SCHOOL HOMECOMINGT FESTIVITIES will be Friday,
September 29, 2006 this year. Those being honored this year are the classes of 1956, 1966,
1976, 1986, 1996, and 2006, as well as all of those who graduated from 1919 to 1956.
The parade will be Friday at 2:00 p.m. The football game will be the Merryville Panthers vs
Lakeview and begin at 7:00 p.m. at Keener Cagle Stadium. |
Alumni dues are $10.00 and may be paid at the football game, the
alumni meeting, or sent in advance to MHS Alumni Association, P.O. Box 656, Merryville, La 70653.
Honored graduates who have paid their $10.00 alumni dues can pick up a pass for the Homecoming
game. These passes will be available at the alumni table stationed to the right of the ticket box.

At the alumni meeting this year, a list was passed around for email addresses, etc. If you are anyone you know can email a copy of this list to me, I would appreciate it.
I am missing class essays for the following classmates: Faye Barnes, Lynn Conley Wiley, Jerald Cooley, Joe Smith, Naomi Meadows Cowgill, Marvis Thompson, Nina Webb Wagner and Shirley Whiddon.
